The short version.
- Zero tolerance for harassment, hate, sexual content and anything that puts a minor at risk. Serious cases close the account the first time.
- GAMERLY isn’t a dating app. No hitting on people here.
- You need to be 16 or older.
- If something’s wrong, report and block. A person reads it, most serious first.
1. Treat people well
You can disagree, lose a match and not want to play with someone again. What’s not okay is harassing, threatening, insulting, humiliating, or pushing when someone doesn’t reply. Same for hate and discrimination over who someone is: where they’re from, their religion, gender, orientation, a disability or anything else.
2. No dating
GAMERLY is for playing and for meeting people who play. It isn’t a dating app: don’t use it to flirt or to look for anyone for romantic or sexual purposes, and keep sexual or suggestive content out of everywhere, your line, your name and your messages included.
3. Minors stay out of any risk
You need to be 16 or older to use GAMERLY. Any content or behaviour that sexualises a minor, or tries to contact a minor for that purpose, is banned with no exceptions: we close the account and report it to the authorities. If you think someone is under 16, report them with the reason “Looks under 16”. More on child safety.
4. Be yourself, once
One person, one account. Don’t pretend to be someone else, a team, a game publisher or GAMERLY, and don’t create new accounts to get around a block, a ban or the service’s limits.
5. Other people’s things aren’t yours
Don’t share anyone’s details without their permission: their in-game name or code, their Discord link, screenshots of a conversation or anything they told you privately. What gets shared when a session closes is for playing with those people, not for posting.
6. Play fair here too
Some parts of GAMERLY only work because people tell the truth:
- The rank you declare in a game. Nobody checks it, so inflating it only means nobody wants to play with you again.
- “Did you play?” and “Who didn’t show up?”: answer with what happened. Marking someone absent who did show up, or agreeing with others to do it, breaks these guidelines.
- Ratings: pick the tags that really fit someone. Teaming up to boost or sink a person breaks these guidelines.
- Reports are for things that aren’t okay. False reports, or using reports to hound someone, aren’t okay either.
“Shows up” and the tags are a guide: they help you decide, they don’t promise how a match will go.
7. No spam, scams or cheats
Don’t send ads, referral links or chain messages. Don’t buy or sell accounts, ranks or services, don’t offer cheats for any game, and don’t try to get money, passwords or personal details out of anyone. And don’t use bots or automation against GAMERLY.
8. Invite codes are for your people
A code leads to a session or a group, and whoever uses it gets in. Share it with the people you want to play with; don’t post it all over the place or use it to spam. You’re responsible for where you share it, and you can cancel it whenever you like.
9. What happens if they’re broken
Depending on what happened, we can remove content, stop showing a profile or a group, limit features, suspend the account or close it. There are no three strikes: serious cases —harassment, sexual content, any risk to a minor, threats, impersonation— close the account the first time. If a measure is about you, we’ll tell you what it is and why, and you can ask for a person to look at it again by emailing contacto@gamerly.es.
These guidelines are part of the terms of use.
10. How to report and block
From someone’s profile, a chat, a session room or a group’s page, tap ⋯ and choose Report or Block. Blocking is instant: that person stops showing up for you, without any notice. The steps are on the support page.
If someone is in immediate danger, don’t wait for us to see it: call your country’s emergency number (in the European Union, 112).
