We’re also on the GAMERLY Discord server, for questions and to talk with other players. Anything about your account, your data or a report is best sent by email or from the app.
What GAMERLY is
An app for finding people who play the same games you do, in your language. In DISCOVER you go through cards of people and say hi by writing; in PLAY you post a session or join an open one, and when it closes you see each other’s in-game names so you can invite each other. It’s free, and you need to be 16 or older.
How do I report someone?
On their profile, in the chat, in a session room or on a group’s page, tap ⋯ and choose Report. Pick the reason and, if you like, tell us what happened. A person reads it, most serious first. If the reason is “Looks under 16” or “Explicit sexual content”, the profile stops showing straight away while we review it.
To tell us about something without an account, use gamerly.es/report-illegal-content.
How do I block someone?
On their profile or in the chat, tap ⋯ and choose Block, or tick “Block them too” when you report. It’s instant and they get no notice: they stop showing up for you and the conversation closes. You can see and undo your blocks in Settings › Blocked people.
How do I delete my account?
In the app: YOU › Settings › Delete my account. Without the app, email us from your account’s address. What gets deleted and what doesn’t is at gamerly.es/delete-account.
Why am I not getting notifications?
- Check your phone’s permission: in your phone’s settings, make sure GAMERLY is allowed to send notifications.
- Check the app’s: in Settings › Notifications you choose which ones you want.
- The new-session notice comes at most once a day, never in the middle of the night, and only for a session in one of your games, in your language and your time slot, with a free spot.
- Even if a notification doesn’t reach you, what happened is in the app’s bell for 30 days.
How do I use an invite code?
If someone sent you a gamerly.es/i/… link or an eight-character code, download GAMERLY, create your account and enter it in SOCIAL › Add friends › I have a code (or in the first step of sign-up). It takes you to the session or the group. If it says it no longer works, ask whoever sent it for a new one.
How do I stop showing up without deleting anything?
In Settings, set your profile to private. You leave DISCOVER straight away; your chats and groups stay.
